I am a publicly-engaged scholar and passionate teacher committed to bringing the insights of sociology to the public. I have over ten years of college teaching experience and have worked in both academic and applied settings.
My specializations include gender-based violence, inequality, social change, male allies in gender-based activism, and the scholarship of teaching & learning. My other interests include incarceration, gender in the media, micro-sociology, and visual sociology.
I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Meredith College.
